The RayTemp TN2 thermometer is a non-contact infrared thermometer, one of the smallest infrared thermometers with laser alignment on the market today measuring just 18mm x 50mm x 100mm and weighing just 62 grams.

Requiring no focusing or calibration this is one of the simplest thermometers to use, simply aim the thermometer at the target and press the mesaurment button to display the surface temperature. The TN2 measures and displays temperatures over the range of -33ºC to +220ºC with a resolution of 0.1ºC.

The TN2 incorporates an optical lens that measures temperature by sensing the amount of radiated energy at infrared frewquencies. Using this data the actual temperature of the infrared sensor (thermopile), the TN2 can calculate the temperature of the surface area that emitted the energy.

The distance to target ratio is 3:1 therfore the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target as possible without the need to touch the surface being measured. The TN1 incorporates maximum, minimum and lock mode functions and is switchable between ºC and ºF.
